Just a quickie post...I was asked how big that Tatsy's shuttle is. Here it is in my hand.


And here it is compared to a regular clover shuttle.
I think that for my Mother's day gifts for my coworkers, that I'm going to make the Magnolias with a fan in the background of it. Sprinkle in a little bit of ribbon and add a pin backing....yeah that sounds good. I do have to thank Steph for the fan suggestion.

  3. I often use the Tatsy with beginners, using a cord, so that it's big enough to see how the stitch is formed. It also forces me to tat more slowly as it's really too big for comfort. Some with larger hands like it because it holds so much thread.
